Thursday 17th November, 2011: Strata Manufacturing (Strata), Mubadala Aerospace's advanced composite aerostructures manufacturing plant in Al Ain,and Injazat Data Systems, the leading information technology and business process managed services provider, are working in partnership to design and develop focused Career Development Plans (CDPs) for all of Strata's United Arab Emirates (UAE) National employees.
Strata has partnered with leading aerospace companies to establish manufacturing programs at its flagship Al Ain production facility. Through its activities and partnerships, Strata supports Mubadala Aerospace's objective to build a globally integrated aerospace industry in Abu Dhabi through the development of a leading international portfolio of aerospace businesses.
Strata is committed to supporting Emiratization and is constantly scouting for new talent of all levels to join its ever-expanding team. It provides opportunities for skilled and ambitious UAE Nationals ranging from technical duties to engineering and managerial roles. In the past 12 months, Strata has been able to raise the proportion of UAE nationals working for the company from 1% to 33%. The company plans to employ more than 1,000 employees by 2015, with 50 per cent of the roles to be filled by Emiratis.
In order to help achieve this target, Strata has partnered with The Injazat Institute (Ti2), a professional development initiative launched by Injazat Data Systems, to support the implementation of focused CDPs for all its UAE National employees.
Ross Bradley, CEO of Strata, said, "Working with Injazat to develop Career Development Plans for the company's UAE National employees will support each candidate's growth by ensuring that they are developed within their current role to meet expected competencies, and also honed to meet the organization's succession planning by preparing for future roles. The aim is to meet Strata's long-term Emiratization strategy that is fully aligned with the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision."
Ti2 has already implemented the career development of a highly effective UAE National workforce at Injazat through a clearly defined process that is also being implemented bya number of key organizations, including Strata. All Strata UAE Nationals working in strategic support functions now have an approved CDP that is directly linked to job skills and competencies; a transparent workforce strategy; identified succession plans; talent management of high-potential individuals; and initiation of fast track programs to develop the skills required within a number of important roles. This process is now being rolledout for allUAE National technical roles associated with Strata's factory operations.
"The key to the success of any Emiratization strategy is to create a clearly defined career path that is fully aligned with organizational goals and objectives. This has been a focal point of our successful approach to the development of our local talent. We have a strong understanding of the conceptual and practical implementation of Emiratization which we look forward to sharing with Strata in a partnership that is focused on fulfilling the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision," added Ibrahim Lari, Managing Director, Injazat Data Systems.

An outstanding achievement of the program’s Fast Track component are the results demonstrated by Ms.Huda Al Dhaheri who has obtained the prestigious Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) certification
